My personal feelings about this special

This has never really been my cup of tea

I was never super pumped to watch this special

What’s wrong with me that I don’t love this?

There are parts of that I really do love

Maybe it’s just because I identify so strongly with Linus and CB

Running through it scene by scene

Linus and Lucy come out of a house

Going into the pumpkin patch

A giant beautiful pink sky

Linus is sad about the pumpkin

Some really poetic notes

I love how much these artists love dusk

Linus only eats a few bites of the apple before tossing it – not a great look

He lives so close to a pumpkin patch

Is this a communal pumpkin patch?

Lucy isn’t pleased that Linus couldn’t roll the pumpkin successfully

Almost like a pointillism carpet

I love Linus’s joy and persistence

I love Snoopy’s crossing over the French countryside

But CB getting rocks just makes me sad

I don’t know why it didn’t click with me when I was a kid

CB doesn’t come across as a loyal friend in this – he should’ve just stayed with Linus
