A virtual blanket fort constructed of sentence fragments and oxford commas will be your place of respite tonight. (setup 14:24 Ray 17:45) My well adjusted neighbor Ray Perkins returns to the show with his take on the vacation we took this summer. He will lull and dull with details of a hotel we stayed at. There will be plenty of walk talk.

Annoying, not lulling. Nervous voice like fingernails on a chalkboard made me nervous. I gave up after two minutes. Study some of the feminine ASMR virtuosos of the field. Being boring by itself is not soporific.

…but the whole point is to capture your attention and then become boring.

And that is your personal opinion. Don’t taint the experience with negativity.

There is no reason for it. If you don’t like it, you don’t have to listen. It happens to work for me.

I’m with Nox on this one.
I experience ASMR but I also struggle with insomnia. This puts me to sleep in a way that ASMR doesn’t.

Its too bad that it didn’t work for you, a lot of people get a great nights sleep thanks to SWM.

          Of course!

I love the podcast. It helps me get through the night by taking my attention away from the thoughts that keep my mind racing (which is exactly its job)…

I absolutely despise unnecessary negativity. Why be needlessly negative when you could instead avoid the cause?
